The most southern point of Laos is Si Phan Don (4000 Islands). There is plenty of kayaking, biking, walking, swimming, and relaxing to be had. Don Det has plenty of budget accommodations while Don Khon is better for those with deeper pockets :)

Lovely stay
We had a lovely visit, riverfront bungalow had nice verandah and beatiful view. Room vas clean and spacious. All day kajaking trip was exellent.
