We’re in a prime location—Cala Gonone and Dorgali are ideal starting points for breathtaking excursions by sea or land, and I’ll be there to offer you valuable advice. Upon your arrival, you’ll enter through the garden, which we tend to and prepare with passion for the summer season; it’s entirely yours to enjoy. Each apartment has its own private veranda, complete with a table and chairs so you can enjoy meals outdoors. I’m sure you’ll be enchanted by the peace that surrounds the house—it overlooks the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. A home in a truly ideal location—just outside the most central area, yet only a 15-minute walk from the harbor. This means you’ll always have parking available, you can rest without ever being disturbed, and you’ll enjoy a true immersion between the sea and the mountains. If you’re looking for a place where birds sing when you wake up and where you can enjoy a lovely aperitif at sunset—still in your swimsuit—with the sound of crickets in the background, well, this is the home for you.<br><br>Ever since I was a child—having been born in this paradise—my greatest dream has been to share my homeland with everyone. So that’s become my job. I’ve always been involved in hospitality, which is why my family and I decided to open the doors of our home, just a stone’s throw from the sea. I’ll share with you all the wisdom my homeland has given me, so you can enjoy a well-rounded vacation filled with adventure, relaxation, and, above all, great food.<br><br>As I mentioned earlier, the location is ideal for exploring destinations both on land and at sea. Every day, excursions depart from the port of Cala Gonone to visit the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei—an unspoiled stretch of the eastern coast rich in small caves to explore (always by boat)—and beaches that are unique in the world, such as Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Goloritze. Swimming at anchor and snorkeling are fantastic in places like the Piscine di Venere and the Sorgenti, located just before Cala Goloritzè (designated a national monument in 1995). There are also countless beaches accessible by land; the closest are Cala Cartoe and Cala Osala, characterized by fine sand and shallow waters at low tide, making them ideal for families. For the more adventurous, the area offers a variety of climbing routes for every level of difficulty. Hiking, on the other hand, is the main attraction—ideal even in spring and fall—since we’re located about half an hour from the starting points for visiting the Gorropu Canyon and the Nuragic village of Tiscali. There are countless archaeological sites to see, such as Serra Orrios, Nuraghe Mannu, and others. Oh, and the food and drink are absolutely divine.
