”No pillows on the bed when we got to our room. After getting our pillows (3 flat pillows) we looked at our room. It looked like they were doing maintenance to the room and needed a good cleaning. Other guests checked in about midnight and spent 45 mins swearing and yelling because their room was upstairs. I tried to call the front desk but no phone in room. ”It was super quiet and for that - a nice retreat. Amenities are far away so guests will need to have everything with, otherwise a drive for such could be 10+ miles. No frills at all, but quiet and affordable”

”We had a wonderful stay. The proximity to the Applebe's was very convenient after a long day of driving. We were disappointed that the hot tub was being serviced on the morning before we checked out. There also weren't any towels at the pool for us to dry off with. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. The staff were extra friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the eggs, waffles, and biscuits the best. ”

”A little out of the way, but the reward for that is amazing peace and quiet. AJ made us feel so welcome, and he has such a sweet doggo! The owner has thought of all the small details that make a difference. There's a nice hot tub and patio seating area for breakfast if weather permits. Plus lawn games and a view that is so serene and beautiful. I can't even begin to express how amazing the breakfast was, plus a coffee/tea bar in the hallway outside the rooms.
