”We enjoyed our stay. The only thing which could be improved would be the adress. The street was easy to find however the house number was R. da Suavinha 216 and not 220 as in our confirmation.”

The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house.”

”This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival.”

”This property is a green oasis. The old stone buildings are beautifully decorated. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is great and the movable roof is absolutely brilliant. ”Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!”

It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. ”Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward.”

”The surroundings of the house were really beautiful with the play area and swimming pool. There was a lot to do. We were received well and kindly. ”We really enjoyed our stay in this new well-equipped villa in a transquil location offering beautiful views over river Douro and village of Gondarem. It is also a good base for trips to nearby villages, towns and Douro valley vineyards.”

”This is a beautiful property. Two couples stayed in the villa. Unfortunately the rain was incessant so we were not able to use the outdoor patio and pool. But it was an ideal base to explore Porto, the staff was superb, and the breakfast set us up for the day.”

”Easy check-in at the hotel, a few doors down from the apartment. Excellent friendly staff, always willing to help. Great location, just 2 minutes walk from the waterfront. Great characteristic apartment with super comfy beds and wooden shutters on the window's to keep you cool. I cannot fault the place, we had an amazing time and i have to say these are one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Hugely recommend a stay here.”
