”The pool was a mess and the buildings surrounding the pool need to be torn down. They offer no early check in (even though we were told they would allow one, along with a late check out, for a fee.) ”Under renovation (which is a good thing). Room was nice and clean (although carpets are stained in hallways and in room...hope that new carpetting is in the renovation plan). I didn't use pool or hot tub, but looked really tempting! The biggest beef was breakfast or lack thereof. Waffles (standard to most hotels nowadays, but all they had beside that was toast and cold cereal (but I didn't see any milk). Coffee was out. I ended up going to Denny's. Bed comfortable. ”I gave it two stars because the staff was friendly. That was good, because after two requests and during the four day stay, our room was never made up or cleaned. We had to get our own towels and TP. There were no bugs, but I’m surprised with a large gap around the door, which also let in smoke from those standing outside smoking.The bedding was clean despite the old cigarette burn holes in the sheet and blanket. Floor was dirty. bathroom was dirty.”

”The Hilton Garden Inn North Phoenix is a nice hotel. No compaints except that they charge for parking. I hate hotels that charge for parking. Just another fee that Expedia did not include or diclose. I might have chosen a different hotel if I knew that an additional $10 per night would be added onto my stay.”
