”Everything was perfect! The situation, the room, the owners, breakfast. The only very little thing at this time of year was that I would prefer a thinner blanket. But there was a fan anyway so I would give this place a full ten!”

”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII! Thank you kindly, we enjoyed totally!”

”Very friendly and helpful young man on reception… advised on parking and provided cups for a cup of tea when asked. He also showed us to our room and demonstrated how to use the air conditioning.”

”The narrow and steep stairs do not give a good impression but the rooms are clean and adequate. Helpful staff and a kitchen area make it a good base. Parking is on a one way street and limited between 09.30 & 16.30 but that wss not a problem for me. Convenience store in garage on opposite side of road.”

”We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is...

”This is an interesting old pub/hotel renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was superb.”

”No air-conditioning for the heatwave, unfortunately the fan stopped working too, so rather uncomfortable heat wise. Lovely room, comfy bed, friendly staff and great location!!!”

The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place.”
