”If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. ”

”This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

Fantastic location, we were able to walk downtown to grab coffee / breakfast / drinks with ease (about 12 min walk through the neighborhood). ”This home is very well stocked for an adventure in the Lost Sierra! ”We wanted somewhere close to Mill Pond so our kids would get a great view of the fireworks and this location didn’t disappoint. We had a 10 min walk for truly excellent seats of the fireworks. The place was clean, quiet and beautiful. Friendly neighborhood and people. Only downside was when i tried to contact the owner (silly thing but a black widow in the bathroom), we never got a reply. Glad there wasn’t a bigger issue because of no response. ”

”Property had everything you need for an out of the way getaway in the mountains — little gems everywhere we looked. Need a hammock, they’ve got it; want to play an old or new album, yep a turntable too; and much more. Kitchen was great with coffee grinds ready and all. Kids loved the space for playing games and relaxing after a day out and about in the mountains. Master suite was away from kids rooms for a nice space to ourselves. ”The night sky from the deck of the geodesic dome was absolutely spectacular, as were the views. The home was clean, thoughtfully appointed and was situated on an exceptional property. It was also a short drive from the Sierra Storytelling Festival, which made it even better. The only shortcoming is that there was only one full bed and the two others were a futon and a sofa bed. A twin bed in the loft would be a lovely addition. For 4 adults, it works fine.”
