”Everything was great about bushman’s. Staff were friendly and kind and the cabins were beautiful and modern. Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was a trainee at the desk who kept being left by himself and he clearly hadn’t yet been trained in some of the basic info so made it a bit difficult to get clear answers but he was lovely and tried very hard to help. Otherwise, no complaints ”

”We had an amazing three night stay at Cathkun Cottage and that was undoubtedly due to Roger’s incredible warmth, hospitality and general helpfulness throughout. The setting is so peaceful, the accommodation clean and comfortable and the breakfast service excellent ! Roger was able to produce some amazing plant based breakfasts when he learnt we were vegan, and there was a wonderful atmosphere getting to know the other guests. You are made to feel so welcome that it is truly a home from home....

”We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens.”
