Love the river that runs through the property, all the amenties, and the convenience of Wapiti being outside your door for some food or a drink. I was worried about the "no contact check-in & check-out", but it went very smoothly. The staff was very attentive to texts whenever we needed anything. We had a great time. Definitely recommend it.”
”This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again. ”

”This lodge, built in 1920, has a beautiful main lodge with a restaurant, bar, and gift shop. It is grand like a mountain lodge should be. There are several cabins to stay in, and they come in all sizes. It looks over two beautiful lakes. The staff is wonderful. They were all polite and professional. I look forward to staying there again.”
”Our stay at Discovery Lodge was wonderful! The unit we were in was clean, spacious, and updated. The location was perfect and we saw lots of elk. My children enjoyed the playground and pond. We will definitely stay at Discovery Lodge again when we return to Estes Park.”
