”Loved this place we will definitely go there again and again. Go to Costco right off the plane the valet will bring your luggage and Costco items up make sure you tip them well. The grills are super clean and easy to use and well maintained. We didn't care for their breakfast so we just ate light in the room. Grab laundry detergent, food, condiments, bottled water and you will save so much.”

”An hour extra time for late check-out would have cost $250. It soured our departure. Last time that I was in Hawaii, at another resort, we were greeted with tropical drinks and lei. It was a nice touch. The Westin resort did not do that. It's the little things folks, step up your game please.”

”This is the perfect place/location for those seeking a nice condo in Kaanapali. The complex is right next to the Whaler’s village and has good beach front with cabana, lounge and umbrella rentals available. The units are spacious with good kitchens. We’ve been to Maui many times and feel that this is the best option.”

”Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is...

”The property was beautiful and the staff were all so great. It is high season so the one issue I noticed is there is definitely not enough lounge chairs at the pool to accommodate all the people who are staying at the resort. All the hotels are like this actually. Resort should provide chairs to guests free of charge for the beach at the rate you are paying to stay there a night.”

”An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves. The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard...

”Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.”

”Our family will definitely stay here again! It’s a beautiful hotel and our suit accommodated my family of four (the 2nd restroom was such a bonus). We enjoyed the different selections of pool to chill in a with just steps to the beach. Although, Whalers Village is not that far of a walk, having the option of the hotel providing us with a golf cart ride there was fantastic, especially after being in sun all day. My family and I highly recommend this resort to your family as well!”

”Loved the pool layout and the gorgeous ocean view. Not noisy, very minimal music played at the pool which was nice! The snorkeling on site is better than Molokini crater. The only slight downside is that the beach is a bit small and there were limited restaurants on site but that is only a tiny negative. Loved this resort and would come back.”

”If you looking a budget stay, this is perfect. We can cook, talk to other people who stay there. Everyone were friendly and the showers were not crowded. Only part is that the bedrooms have little dust on the walls. But this is a hostel and it’s expected”
