”This hotel offers decent value for money. Room was spacious, bed was ok and the bathroom clean. Plenty of parking available. The area this hotel is in doesn't seem super nice and as far as I know had limited food options especially later in the day. ”

”Property was very easy to find. Clean inside and out. Staff kind and courteous. King room was large and spacious. Will stay there again if travels take me that way.”

”Perfect location, there’s a gas station , and Dairy Queen , walking distance the staff was very nice , room was very clean , there’s a restaurant on site with convenient hours , the pool area had a nice laundry room,the hotel offered free breakfast which was very good . I will definitely stay here again.”

”The staff was very kind and had smiles for my son. It was my first time stopping in West Virginia, and I was pleasantly surprised. I choose it for the pool, but the pool is in the middle of the parking lot, so I don’t recommend it. but the staff were great and it’s very clean.”

”Clean and mostly quiet, although we could hear the guests walking upstairs. The bathroom is dated but still in pretty good repair. Breakfast was kept well stocked for the large crowd but the coffee was only so-so.”

”Not the greatest neighborhood, but the bed was clean and comfortable, however the floor was filthy (as my husband had white socks on and they were black). A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. Also asked later about pizza places - he mentioned Domino's(?) but we found a Pies & Pints a few blocks away (which was really good!) Picked this place because it was close to 77 and it had...

”Great hotel with perfect accommodations. Visiting from Miami, Fl and being used to warm/hot weather, the indoor pool was a big plus for the kids. I don't think we could enjoy an outside pool in June in West Virginia. Additionally, the hotel was clean and the full breakfast being available in the morning made it even better. Checkout at 12pm is standard which also made for a pleasant trip! I'd recommend for families for sure!”

”Hot water dribbled through spigot, musty/moldy odor downstairs, carpet not vacuumed thoroughly in my room, was not told of WiFi password on my card case, room doors very loud when closing, did not see handicapped spots, breakfast buffet subpar, no fresh fruit I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!”

”It just seemed like maintenance was lacking a little and not much had been fixed/upgraded since we had been there 4 years ago.”

”The room was great. The outside of the property was a bit run down and the area was so-so. But, that is also practical and expected for the price point. I had a good night's sleep and got back on the road the next day without any issues, so it was a good experience.”

”We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.”

”We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.”
