”Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks.”

”Lovely big, clean room with a sofa, table, chairs, huge bed and a gorgeous view. Loads of parking and a nice garden to enjoy. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful. The evening meal, Chicken Supreme, was fantastic and so was the breakfast (porridge with blueberry compote). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and can't wait to stay again.”

”Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend.”

”LLWYN Country House is tucked away and down a little lane offering a peaceful stay and close to so many amenities and recreational facilities. Ideally situated for sporting events in Llanelli, the Millenium coastal path , Pembrey Sands, the Gower peninsula and the Carmarthenshire coastline. We received a very warm welcome and a wonderful evening meal and breakfast. Marius is an excellent host and chef and strives for quality. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return in the future.”

”Excellent friendly hotel. Ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant excellent. Owners are very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. There was a minor set back with checking in. Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. Hopefully was a one off as I will be surely checking in again when I’m in the area. ”

”The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...

”My single room was appalling. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Windows were so high up, I couldn't see out. Very shabby. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and hot.”

”The Hotel has parking first come first serve very Narrow drive through alley. Does not have a dessert menu this is done by staff telling you whats on the menu it also does not have a wine list this is very limited. ”

”Triple room at the top of the building. The hallways were pretty grim but the room was a nice surprise. Great touch with the ceiling fan. The road is very busy outside. It was fine for a one night stay.”
