”Easy pick when you need a place to stay in Oak Harbor! Enjoyed a couple quiet days here before staying with family in the area. The property and my room were clean. Bed was comfy and the shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. ”Kitschy but clean - motel style room. Fine for a quick overnight, linens were new/clean and room was well sized. Good location and very friendly desk staff.”

”This was a wonderful find! The staff was very helpful and kind. They provided a secure place for our bicycles. The room was gorgeous! It was like a boutique hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

”The Hero is great for a romantic getaway with spa services. The jetted tubs in the rooms are enormous. The ambiance is cozy. The free breakfast includes eggs made to order. The massages are awesome. We will be back.”

”We liked everything. Close to Anacortes. On property restaurants were great. Casino was a lot of fun too. Quiet rooms, comfy beds and the staff went above and beyond to help us out. Will stay again and recommend.”

”Air conditioner filter was moldy, uncomfortable bed, creaky floors, toilet was not clean, human hair on sheets and pillows, road noise was horrendous, had to climb staircase to second floor. you have been warned”

”We were not there long but the location is fantastic, the views idyllic and the staff helpful. I am sure some of the amenities are also great but we just didn’t have a chance to use them.”

”Sand on top of both beds. I think they need to wash the green plaid blankets that are at the end of the beds as I think that’s where the sand is coming from. Other than the sand in our beds, the resort is charming.”

”Continental breakfast was very sad. Strange smell in the room. Front desk did not ever have a person there. Direct tv in the room did not work. All of this maybe deserves 3 stars, but having a Canadian flag torn in half next to a newer American flag felt disrespectful. Better to not have a flag up at all. Many hotels nearby had a good Canadian flag flying alongside the American one.”

”When the sink was draining slowly, the desk clerk came up to our room and unplugged it. He also showed me how to regulate the heat. And cheerfully.”

”Outside area was really dirty and mangy scroungy mats of flower pots were full of weeds Just not maintained. Room was okay bed was really noisy cuz they had some kind of plastic bed cover on the bed I guess The shower was horrible to say the least you couldn't move the shower head and we had hardly any pressure and warm water. The place definitely needs a remodel.”
