”The location of this property is right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg. It is fairly close to Merchants Square. The staff are friendly . The place was was clean. The hotel needs updating and it felt like the decor was just thrown together. We stayed in the Tazee building and it is set up like a regular hotel , but one that needed new paint and the carpet to be pulled up. It was an ok stay but I wanted a little more of the magic of being in Colonial Williamsburg.”

”Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once.”

”Its a great place even if a little dated. We have stayed here before and liked it enough to stay again. There were a few things that were not the greatest like my son found a cough drop wrapped in the cover of his bed and the dresser had a huge hole in the second drawer. The room didn't have a screen door like the other rooms did so I was a little disappointed about that, it was one of my wife's favorite things about the place. Only had 2 towels for 4 people but they had no issues giving me more...

”This was one of the worst properties we have stayed at. Upon arrival the receptionist was rude. We got a nonsmoking room and they stated they charged $250 if we smoked in the room, yet as soon as we opened the door, all we could smell was smoke. There were holes in the walls, the stair railing was falling, electrical wiring was showing, the room was extremely dirty, there were bugs, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work, and the bathroom light did not work.
