Easy access to Hwy 61 for a site-seeing drive up the North Shore or Grandma's Marathon. Close to Lake Park Baseball & Soccer Complex and many other great activities. Enjoy coffee each morning from the deck or relax next to our indoor fireplaces or outdoor firepit. Great home to share during those youth hockey weekends! Large gatherings by request only.

Despite -50F temperatures, we had a lovely stay! The kitchen was phenomenal though there could be some more silverware. Some cleaning supplies was hard to locate or empty, but overall that doesn't impact the score. The sauna was wonderful but maybe sand the walls a little? Maybe that would mess up the wood, but bare skin on rough wood can result in splinters. One of the washing machines didn't work, but it's a good thing there was another. All this "nitpicking" might seem negative, but all of my friends adored the cabin and weekend. We'll be back!

Great location and setting. Wonderful dinning room with large square table we used often. Pet friendly! Our grandchildren said it was the ebst house we have had and we do Christmas like this every 2 years so high praise. Sorry to say we did break one glass. Sorry for the late recview.

Everyone enjoyed skating on the pond. There was plenty of room for us - eight adults, six kids, and three dogs! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking, although it was a little short on silverware.

Beautiful home that can accommodate a large group. The pond was shoveled , and lite up with lights. The grandkids ice skated & sledded. The outdoor sauna was a hit with the adults, as was the pool table. The house provided ice skates , snow shoes and many family games. Highly recommend & plan to visit again.

First time renting a home for a vacation let alone to host my daughter’s micro wedding, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The owner and management team were so helpful & patient in answering my numerous questions. House was clean, very well stocked and beautifully put together. My family, many from Sweden, absolutely LOVED the sauna! Home was inviting, views were spectacular and we even saw a bald eagle! Amazing amazing amazing - thank you!

Beautiful property in a great location. Easy launch point to Duluth and Two Harbors. Great size - housed 8 adults and 6 children comfortably with lots of room for the kids to run around outside and downstairs.

The property seemed some secluded, but it was not that far from the activities we want to participate in and the things we wanted to see while in Duluth. We did eat at the house and the grill and Blackstone were great. I could not get the oven to work.

We had a good time. Space was great and the yard, pond and trail were fun. The owner gave us some good suggestions of things to do and was responsive to questions.

Great location, very private and peaceful! Would recommend putting pet costs in listing so customers are not surprised. It would have also have been nice to have additional towels as 1 per person is not enough and no one wants to do laundry on vacation. Landscaping could be improved but it is the beginning of the season. We were allowed to check in early which was great as we were from around 3 hours away. Overall great property. Clean. Good experience and communication.

Perfect Graduation Home Base
We we in town for a grad school graduation and this place was the perfect base camp for our group of friends and family. The building and location are absolutely stunning and near plenty of hiking opportunities or even a run into town if need be. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend. Being dog friendly was a major plus too!

Wonderful family stay
Beautiful quiet wooded setting, our family had a lovely stay. Lovely home, everything was beautiful and so clean. Our stay was short, would definitely love to plan to be here again for a longer stay. Peaceful setting, loved sitting on the deck overlooking the pond & woods. Highly recommend!
