The stay was just okay. Infrastructure is really ancient. Even has an old ancient smell. Staff was excellent though. I would definitely pay a bit extra next time to stay at a more modern hotel .

Excellent location and historical touch.You get everything you need in Spring Garden St. Staff was very pleasant, particularly the porters. Doors have to be slightly adjusted so that they close in a slowler fashion. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalhousie University or the downtown ...

We enjoyed our stay and were offered and given an inexpensive upgrade that was worth it. Location was perfect and hotel was family friendly! Parking was easy to find and we would definitely stay there again!
