”What a delightful stay. Quiet country area. Staff are ALL very friendly and welcoming. Restaurants of dinner and breakfast are 5 stars. Room was very spacious and beds/pillows very comfy. Once you check in you don’t need to go anywhere else to eat or drink. ”

”We stayed in the walled garden cottage. It was lovely inside and very clean. The facilities were good although we couldn’t operate the oven and thought an idiot’s guide may be useful. We visited the pub on one evening but because we were only having a drink we weren’t allowed to sit at a table. This meant we had to sit at the bar on tall seats for a good period of time as we’d ordered a bottle of wine. I could have understood if the place was full of people eating but it was half past 5 and...

”Great little room in a great location. Everyone was super nice. However we were there when Scotland was playing Germany in the Euros… the bar was packed. It was extremely loud. The windows to the room were right on the street and not sound proof. The party didn’t die down until well after midnight. Besides that… the 1 night was great”

”Waterfront hotel rooms are located behind their restaurant. You check in to your room at the restaurant. Our room was small but nicely furnished and had a large bathroom. A quiet courtyard has outdoor seating. Breakfast was included. It was order off the menu with a great selection. In fact this was the best breakfast of our 16-day vacation.This restaurant also serves dinner and I think it was the best in town. The hotel is located in the center of town but most places close at 9pm. ”

”Stayed here for one night for daughter’s graduation from Dundee University. We had 2 rooms in a building over the road from the main hotel. Lovely comfy rooms and very friendly staff. ”
