”Absolutely first class- everything! Staff could not have been more attentive. The hotel rooms could not have been nicer- absolutely like new! Hotel has a historical feel with modern decor and amenities. The location was excellent as well. Close to Duomo. May go back to Orvieto just to stay here again (we only were in town one night this trip). ”

”Orvieto on kaunis erilainen matkakohde. Hotelli oli keskeisellä paikalla joten kaikkialle pääsi hyvin kävellen. Kylässä oli useita hyviä ravintoloita joista sai loistavaa paikallista ruokaa . Hotellimme oli siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä tosin Italian kielen taito oli tarpeen. ”

”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

”Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly.
The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). ”

”Altarocca was more than we ever dared to expect. We stayd in Orchidea Suite for 14 nights. This place is just heaven on earth.
