Asunnot – Durham

”DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! We “supposedly” had reservations to this place and when we got there they aren’t even open!! 8:30pm with 3 children in the car. New renovations taking place. New beds in the hallways looking through the door trying to find someone they don’t even have a front desk because it’s being remodeled. I’m ok with the remodel but what I will not tolerate is being scammed by the hotel for saying they have rooms and selling through Expedia when clearing they don’t have rooms...

”Very nice, clean room. Seemed to be recently renovated. Grounds need upkeep. Two separate buildings: one for registration, other for rooms. Three floors for rooms, no elevator. Hot July weather during our stay, needed ice. Bucket in hand and three flights of stairs, I found one ice machine for the entire building. No ice. Empty bucket in hand, down the slope to the front office, machine needs repair, call has been placed. Return trek, tap water. Poor.”

”We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...

”I've stayed there many many times and I have not ever had any issues or problems and the crazy part of it is is I say the same thing every time they asked me to put something on here it's a good place to stay the people are nice the people that clean your rooms they're very nice people I've never had any issues or problems the staff that runs the front desk are very helpful I've never had any issues so as far as I'm concerned it's a very good place to stay and for a night two nights three nights...

”The bed had clean sheets and the towels were replenished each day. But the trash was never emptied and the dirty towels were left there in the room each day.”

”Needed to be maintained better outside the hotel. There was some trash in the parking lot and near the door to go in.”
