”Prior to check-in, Sarah was very responsive. The cottage itself was immaculate and so cute. It was a great location for us to stay. Upon checkout, Sarah answered all of our questions nearly immediately regarding what to do with the linens and rubbish. Hoping to stay here again, if our travels bring us in this direction.”

”Great location for us visiting friends in Eaglescliff.Every thing and more than you can possibly need is provided in the Elms.Very good communication from the owner, even got in touch when it snowed to check we were ok and warm enough.We will definitely see if it's available next time we need to be in the area.”

”Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

”Fabulous house for large groups. Very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.Only negative was the house wasn’t very warm despite the heating being on full, however, we did stay at one of the coldest times of the year with frost outside.Another point to note, take extra care when using the hot tub at night as the lighting to get to it from the house is poor”
