”Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

”Excellent 2 night stay in Superior Room overlooking the fields. Massive room with air con, all facilities & amenities 10/10 - restaurant & breakfast top notch, patio area was great in the warm weather. By far the best hotel stay in the area, we’ve tried them all !”

”Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

”Lovely location and a real charachter property. The whole place was nice and clean and had all the facilities you could need. Great selection available for the continental breakfast and all presented nicely. Great comeunication from the host prior to arrival and the whole experience was very welcoming.”

”Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Food at the pub was the best we had during 2 weeks in Wales. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. Highly recommend this place as convient to the Cardiff airport and very comfortable.”

”The rooms are well furnished but no aircon or appropriate cooling - so if you come in winter I’m sure it will be lovely. No signage as to where to go to check in, you have to wait for a member of the bar staff who are then not very helpful. Staff overall didn’t feel very welcoming. Food in the evening was over cooked and very dry but on the plus side the breakfast was delicious. We stayed one night and wouldn’t stay again.”

”Hotellin läheisyydessä ei ole mitään ja ravintola ei toimi sunnuntaisin eikä aamiainen ole mahdollista maanantai aamuina. Hotelli on siisti , hieman vanhahko mutta kaikki toimii, huoneet koleita jo syyskuussa eikä suihkusta tule kuumaa vettä,lammintä tulee muttei kuumaa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.”

”Room itself was clean, but the molding on the shower showed a large amount of black mold. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious (made to order by their chef, who was very accommodating).”

”This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. It is also well stocked with snacks and drinks. The restaurant downstairs was also nice. We parked our car in the public carpark opposite the hotel which was easy...

”Huoneen ikkunaa ei saanut kiinni, joten huoneessa oli kylmä niin kuin muuten koko talossa. Vettä sai valuttaa minuuttitolkulla, että tarkeni peseytyä. Ei hissiä, kuuluvuus käytävästä ja naapurihuoneista liian hyvä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen, aamiainen hyvin perinteinen englantilainen. Ei siis vihanneksia, vain raskasta ruokaa. Sijainti oli hyvä, helppo kulkea, eri paikkoihin ”

”Zimmer und Badezimmer in Ordnung. Hotel insgesamt aber eher lieblos. Frühstück eine Frechheit. 5 Käsescheiben und 5 Wurstscheiben die sofort leer waren. Kaum Auswahl, bare minimum. Qualität minderwertig.. auch für britische Ansprüche. Preis/Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt.”

”Nice hotel with great location and extremely nice staff. They get us early breakfast in the room and answer all the questions we have. Breakdast buffet was also great and lot of healthy options. Gym was maybe the best hotel gym i've ever visited. Spa was nice bonus and 20 meter long swimming pool was so cool because you can really do the swimming exercise there if you wanted to. ”
