I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. There’s half carpet in the standalone toilet, which is gross. The rooms themselves are fine, a bit rough round the edges. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. ”Everything at the Mount Inn was excellent. It was easy to find, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, the shower worked well. Soap, shampoo, tea, coffee and milk all provided. Breakfast included - a wide choice - the full english if required! Coffee muslei and fruit for me was just what I wanted. Excellent place, I would definitely stay at the Mount Inn again.”

”Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. ”
