Relax with the whole family at this peaceful oasis on quiet Lake.
Get ready to relax and recharge in this charming four-season waterfront cottage located in beautiful Haliburton. The cottage is surrounded by towering maple trees, Lake is a non-motorized clean water lake that is great for fishing, skating, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. The cottage is equipped with new central gas heating and a wood burning fire stove.

This Lakefront picture-perfect 4-season cottage retreat features 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room with skylight, a large deck overlooking the water and a fire pit.

There are three bedrooms on the main floor: one Queen bedroom overlooking the lake and access to deck, the second bedroom has another queen bed and third bedroom with two single beds and one four-piece bathroom on the main floor. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining area. Well equipped with all required appliances, fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Unlimited Wi-Fi, wood burning fireplace, large deck overlooking the lake.

Guest must bring thier bedsheets , pillow case and blanket.

The cottage was clean with excellent amenities. We had some safety concerns about the wood deck, stairs and dock, which had some rot setting in. We made sure to be careful in those areas. The setting was lovely and quiet and tre swimming and kayaking was excellent. Overall we were happy with our stay.

2025 Getaway

Had a lovely time at Patel's Cottage, loved the lake was great for a nice swim and float, fishing was good, loads of sunfish great for kids to try out fishing. Cottage was clean and comfortable. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the water to the lake is a lot more steeper uneven than what pictures showed, would be mindful of this if booking with any sort of mobility issues.

We really enjoyed ourselves at this cottage, it’s situated on a beautiful small lake, which is exactly what I wanted,The cottage was a decent size with everything we could possibly need and not too far from the nearest town.We had a really lovely day and we plan to go back again

Perfect cottage holiday

Everything about this cottage was wonderful. Perfectly clean upon arrival. All appliances and equipment in excellent working order. Beautiful, quaint, small lake, quiet with no motorized boats. Excellent swimming Lovely cottage neighbours Wonderful hosts!

Quiet and cozy as listed

A short 3 night stay for myself and adult daughter simply to relax before her upcoming wedding... it had everything we needed/wanted... Lake is small but we did enjoy the provided kayak and my own paddleboard. Swimming was great off the dock with accessibility to floating docks straight across from the cottage. No motorized boats is a huge bonus if you are looking for a quiet getaway. The path from the cottage to the waterfront is on the steep side so getting back up to the cottage was a little challenging for myself but managed ok... overall we enjoyed everything about this location and will keep it in our "do it again" list. On a side note, a keurig was provided but a drip coffee maker would be a nice alternative

Clean and Quiet Family Getaway At The Lake

The cottage was spacious, clean and the area very quiet. We enjoyed swimming in the clean lake water where there were no motorized boats and we had success fishing right off the dock. Getting down to the lake from the cottage was a little treacherous with the steep slope. Fine for us but it would be more difficult with a family with small children. It would be helpful if the listing indicated that there is a Keurig coffee maker as we did not know. Also the paddle boat steering needs repair. Overall a beautiful, nice place to stay.

Quiet time

We enjoy the feeling of swimming in lake water. This lake was quiet, no motor boats, and the water was warm. We swam twice a day. The cottage was nice and well equipped.

Great cottage

Property was immaculate and set up nicely. Everything was practically provided you would need to enjoy a stay here. Above and beyond on kitchen supplies etc. Great little quiet lake for swimming and fishing. Would rent again.

Beautiful “turnkey” cottage with an amazing lake view.

If you’re looking for a wonderful getaway in cottage country, this is the place to go. The cottage is modern, spacious, impeccably clean and has everything you could possibly need for an amazing stay. A canoe, paddle boat and kayak are also included for your lake activities and enjoyment. Swimming off the deck is highly recommended!
