”Lovely stay , very comfortable hotel. Excellent Customer service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very obliging. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and couldn’t fault our meals at all. Very good quality food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. ”

”I stayed in a single room on the top floor that was perfect for my needs - comfy bed, plenty of outlets, en suite, a window that opened, a small TV, a kettle, a desk. There are stairs and narrow hallways which might prove challenging for some, but the eclectic knick-knacks make it an interesting trip. The pub is small but has cozy side rooms, the dining area large enough with good breakfast options, and I also got a good pie for dinner one night. The location was perfect for taking a boat...

”Nice, clean, well appointed room with kingsize bed. All staff were brilliant, happy, very helpful and responsive and their good teamwork was evident. The Wi-Fi worked well and the bar was well-stocked. Lovely surroundings and the field of Clydesdale horses in the neighbouring farm was delightful.”

”The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.”

”2 minutes from Alnwick Playhouse with cinema, cafe and tourist centre information. 5 minutes from Alnwick Gardens & Castle and Barter Books. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Across the road from bus stop coastal route to Berwick on Tweed & Newcastle via coastal towns and villages. 20 mins bus ride away from Alnmouth station with trains to Berwick and Edinburgh. I had a wonderful week there. ”
