”We loved the location of this property as it was the center spot of where our family lives. The yard was nice as we brought our pup with us. Based on the listing that the property was on the lake we were looking forward to him being able to swim, yet were told "NO" by the locals as it is a duck itch water spot. ”Annual reunion for friends. Property was great to entertain and stage us for other local events. Had an acoustic singer guitarist in and the acoustics were great! Pool is clean but is shared with two other Vrbo rentals on the property. Fire pit nice touch by the lake.privacy between the three suites is a challenge.”

Some small cosmetic issues, but nothing that bad The beach at the end of the road is rocky, so you will want to be sure that you bring water shoes if you're planning to go to that beach. ”We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. ”When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. ”

”We had a great stay! A separate sitting room allowed me to get up early and let my wife sleep in. Perfectly appointed kitchen made breakfast and happy hour easy. It’s a well-appointed kitchen, and cooking a meal would be easy, but too many good restaurants in town - all walking distance (same with the Bell museum).. Bed was very comfortable, and bath was beautiful. The place is in excellent shape, and cleaner than clean. Highest marks possible!”
