”Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!”

While it is about 50 minutes from Bar Harbor, it's a shorter trip to the Schoodic Pennisula part of the park, and a lovely drive. The owners were very responsive and helpful.
