The rental was perfect for our family of 3, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was even a little grocery store less than a 1/4 mile down the road. It was about a 25 minute drive to get to most of the big Acadia sites since they are on the other side of the Island, like the Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole, and Sieur De Mont.However, we considered that a good thing because it was much quieter and relaxing out in Southwest Harbor. ”This location worked out perfectly for us as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and many of the Acadia entrances. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful July 4th wknd stay. There’s a wonderful place across the street for breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. thanks for a great stay!”

”We had a great time! The house was very clean and beautiful. The only complaint, was the docks were not out on the water as advertised in the listing and the wifi did not work. I would maybe add to the listing that docks are only out during certain times of year.”

”We loved everything about this rental. It is private, immaculately clean, and horses! It was so quiet and relaxing to watch the sunrise with coffee out on the deck and horses grazing in the paddocks. This home is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point (even better) and yet distant from crowds and heavy traffic. Driving past the Wyman Blueberry fields was amazing! The host was so helpful and we were so grateful for the Schoodic Point recommendation!”
