”If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back.
At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

”Spent 5 nights at the Ivy Tree and loved all of them! The staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help you. ”Staff excellent. Setting beautiful. We stayed in the old house which had real charm, but was a little tired. Beyond the historic house is a conference centre, with spa. We ate an evening meal in the 1744 restaurant which was well priced and very tasty. ”

”I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.”
