”Our room was in Birch Tower and was very nice, new, and clean. Beds were super comfortable and I liked the shower and bathroom. Room came with mini fridge and individual coffee maker. Nice that there was a coffee/pastry stand on the ground floor below us. The location was excellent and loved the art all around on 4th Street. Highly recommend staying here!”

”Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking. Still important to me. Room was clean. Bedframes appear to have been replaced with cheap junk. Headboards too. Very hard to...

”Such a unique place to stay. Loved the vibe, loved the room. Decor is very cool and lots of thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome. Midtown is up and coming and it can be loud at night with the cruising and loud stereos but we were so relaxed in our room it didn’t bother us at all. We weren’t aware of the sauna until check out but the front office staff were kind enough to give us the code so we could check it out before we left. The sauna is an absolute vibe. ”The staff was absolutely amazing but I have to admit the room was a little, eh. I couldn't tell if it smelled like smoke or mold or both but it had a really bad odor to it. There was a stain on the chair in the room. Booked cause it is really close to the airport but ended up not sleeping in my room. And just going to catch my flight super early.”

”Decent breakfast. Great interior. I would recommend my friend to stay here and would be glad to revisit. One minor thing to improve is the sound insulation. The room next door kept opening and closing the door at midnight, and the motorcycle roaring at night, we all heard clearly and hard to sleep.”
