”Reception was welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. With iron and ironing board. Dove toiletries. Bar and food available, so we decided eat at hotel. Typical pub/ bar menu, but it was served hot and cooked perfect. Overnight stay due to an early flight. breakfast was continental as we had to leave early.However, have to say it was amazing. Hot pancakes, yogurt, fruit, croissants, cereal, toast marmalade, butter. Beautiful and fresh. If this was the standard, I can only...

”We have used this hotel for over 14 years as it is convenient for when we visit family. Over the years we have seen many changes, generally all good. This is the second time we have stayed since IHG have taken over and you can see the difference. Staff were helpful, welcoming and professional. I mentioned a couple of things and they were sorted immediately. The Housekeeping Manager checked that everything was alright with our room .....and it was! I do so love having Elemis products! I...

”I liked the central location in the heart of Loughborough.Staff was very friendly and helpfull.Breakfast was not included in the roomprice but was easy to buy when needed.The place is old and partly repeared.I liked the old style(like in brittish movies), if you like modern fancy style it s better go somewhere else.The price was good.Little minus was that windows were not cleaned outside (a lot of birds making mess,), but room itself was very clean.”

”The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast.”
