”1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

Hotelli on kyllä kävelymatkan päässä Peterborough:n kesksutasta, mutta lähellä on myös erittäin roskainen ja huonosti hoidettu lähiöalue, jonne helposti lähtee myös kävelemään keskustan sijasta. Hyvä hotelli siis, osaa etsiä shoppailu mahdollisuuksia ja keskiaikaista rakennuskulttuuria toisesta suunnasta.”

”Tosi hieno aula ja pub. Hyvä full English aamupala. Hyvä sijainti. Huoneen ikkuna ei mennyt kiinni kunnolla, ja pyysin 2xpäivässä että se korjattaisi. Sille ei kuitenkaan tehty mitään koko aikana, eikä seuraava vuoro ollut kertaakaan tietoinen koko asiasta. Aamiaismaksujen kanssa oli myös sekoilua, ilta- ja aamuvuorolaista eri mielipiteet hinnasta ja maksuista. Suihkusta ei tullut kuin tulikuumaa vettä.”

”The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. ”

”Pleasant staff on arrival nice and prompt attention, lovely surroundings outside. Comfortable room with great corner bath for much needed relax. Most excellent steak pie for supper. All positive, only negative would be poor wifi connection booster required i would suggest . Nevertheless great stay for business travelling”

”Very, very steep stairs to the apartment. Spacious with 2 separate rooms. Microwave, toaster and air fryer but no oven or hob. Not enough cutlery/crockery. No tea towel! I'd say not very well equipped. ”
