”Great location for Newbury racecourse. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast with a good selection Rooms a good size with desk and sofa and a nice bathroom, air-con would be a welcome addition though. Would recommend”

”We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”

”Room was barely clean whilst half lights not working. Rails to stairs hadn’t been cleaned in ages and covered in grime. At busy times the bar staff were useless more intent on chatting than helping out else where. Food was ok but the breakfast was about the worst I’d had anywhere. On one good note the chap on night duty was really helpful.”

The major issue was I was ground floor with patio doors opening out to parking as area for the golf club.. no air conditioning in the room ment had to TRY and sleep in a 30+ room not good. Otherwise mostly ok Breakfast was not worth £19.98 nice coffee tho.. Parking & staff was ok I did expect a little more the bar was like a sports bar not my scene.”
