”We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the bed was very big and comfortable, the service was great and the staff very sweet and friendly. Our room had a beautiful sea view, definitely worth the extra pennies. It’s a bit of a shame that the road just below is quite busy and noisy throughout the day. Nevertheless, it was great to be so close to the sea, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

”Persoonallinen huone oli ylimmässä kerroksessa, kapeiden portaiden päässä. Ongelmana lähinnä katon kaltevuus, suihkussa ei voinut seisoa, vaan joutui istumaan ammeessa. Aamiaistarjoilu oli oikein ystävällistä, ruoka kuumana pöytään.”

”Huone oli pieni eikä mitään jäähdytystä. Pyynnöstä saimme tuulettimen. Aamiaisella palvelu oli ontuvaa. Välillä kysyttiin heti haluammeko teetä vai kahvia ja mitä mahdollisesti haluamme "hot menusta". Välillä saimme odotella pitkään ennen tuota kysymystä pöytään ohjaamisen jälkeen. Henkilökuntaa oli paljon, mutta aikaa oli seisoskella ja katsella, mutta 3 päivää viidestä palvelu oli todella hidasta.”

”My wife and I had an incredible stay at the lovely Port Hotel with a stunning waterfront view providing gently rolling waves for ambience with the windows cracked open. The staff were perfect and the Eastbourne waterfront was everything we'd hoped for an authentic English coastal experience. Although was not an issue for us, be aware there are no elevators so if you book an upper floor then you're in for a good workout getting up and down the stairs daily -- especially getting heavy bags up and...

It was a last minute trip and quite unplanned so I booked based on others great feedback and we have to agree. Easy parking was followed by such a lovely warm welcome and quick checkin. They have a beautiful old and original lift int he hotel with metal shutters and a seat which was lovely. However what was even nicer was the fact that you are taken to your room to check you are happy with it. The staff at...
