”Loved this hotel and highly recommend. The room was nicely decorated and very cozy and comfortable King bed. Really felt at home in this room! We requested 1st floor and they were very accommodating. There was a nice patio with small table & chairs and overlooking the trees. Very peaceful! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

”The Wachapreague Inn is a quaint, local treasure that is quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds were soft, and they have great hot water! The town itself is very small and quiet. We were only in town for one night, but we hope to come back another time to stay longer and explore.”

”A huge shout out and thank you to the gentleman on the front desk the night I arrived. I had just been released from the emergency room for a broken arm, and this gentleman went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed. Under the circumstances, my stay could not have been better.”

”Very nice hotel! The decor was really unique and the staff were very helpful! Would definitely recommend!”

”Very clean room and bathroom Pool and whirlpool very well maintained Clean walls Plenty parking Very well maintained boardwalk Very helpful staff, gave recommendations for place to dine and nature trails Breakfast attendant very compassionate to to fact that we missed cutoff by 2 minutes, lost of items to choose from”

”We have stayed at this hotel for over 18 years & we keep going back because of the great job they do. Location, staff and clean rooms & property make this hotel a standout!! This visit was our first with the hotel under new management. Nice to see the the rooms were updated & property continued to be maintained.”

”The accommodations at the Sea Shell Motel were much better than expected. This is a clean and well maintained property. We hope to stay here again.”

”A great hotel for a romantic getaway. The town of Onancock is the perfect size, small enough to be calm and peaceful, large enough to have a few restaurants, a coffee shop, and a few interesting antique shops. We were there over the halloween weekend, which was inspiring. A true family event, which includes all the shops welcoming the children. It's a great choice if you like pleasant surprises. We loved it.”

”Wonderful staff, clean rooms. The owners helped me out with a ride when I got separated from my van. Couldn’t believe how kind. Looking forward to going back.”

”The room was semi clean and in a good spot but the bed linens were strange. The comforter felt like wax paper. The floors turned my socks black but the bathroom was clean. Our tub backed up with what smelled like sewage but they moved us right away. No carts to move all our luggage and food which was annoying. No coffee maker in room. Tv was weird. Good for a night that’s about all”
