”We had stayed here years ago because of the location right across from the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, and it turned out to be exactly the right spot for everything we wanted to do on the Cape. We were here this time in the off-season, so considerable renovation was in progress on the other half of the hotel, but where we were was quiet, clean, and very pleasant. The room was large enough, comfortable, and everything in it worked.”

”This is a cute little place. Seems a little worn out for the money. The picture of the two chairs by the water is disceptive. You can not see the water from the house, except for a peek a boo view through the trees. i ”

”This place was fantastic! The location was great! I loved going down to the dock every morning to wake up. The hot tub was relaxing after a day on the beach. And the local restaurants were fabulous! We would totally go there again!”

”We had a wonderful week at The Velvet Crab. Tara and the Heart of the Cape crew were attentive to any message we sent and the house was a perfect location to explore the outer cape. We loved how close we were to both the bay and ocean beaches and the whole family, dog included, loved lounging at the pond’s edge. We’re sorry to have to leave!”
