”There were no disabled parking spots, only reserved ones for electric cars. I booked an executive room (112), and was surprised to note one of the windows looked onto the bin area and recycling, that has lights on most of the night and early morning noise. My bath had mould around the seals, and the bath plug had to be removed with a spoon, which dislodged more mould that floated in the bath. When I mentioned about changing my room before unpacking due to the view, there were no others...

I worried about the stairs as I have difficulty climbing some stairs and these were not taxing on my knees, Appreciate the stay at The Old Rectory.”

”We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

”We srayed in Rm55, a suite that was freshly decorated and really lovely. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and the breakfast choice was great. We thought the room may be noisy being at the front of the hotel but we had a surprisingly good nights sleep.”

”Bath in room 231 we were stopping in was off the wall with a gap down the back of it, there was no parking available for ourselves and had to park in a public car park, breakfast and staff was great, the lift wasn’t working so elderly people struggled with all the stairs and the bed was not a king size it was 2 singles pushed together with a ridge between the mattresses”
