”Our family had an amazing stay at this lake house. We visit Lake Gaston several times a year, and this was truly one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. The house was beautiful, fully equipped, and comfortably accommodated our multigenerational family of ten. We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub — they were highlights of our stay. We also appreciated not having to bring linens, towels, or washcloths; all we needed to bring was our family and our food.The location was very convenient to Food...

”We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked....

”This home was absolutely perfect! It was super clean and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need to prepare meals, and there was also a cute little coffee bar. Also, the host was kind and very responsive. The fire pit was the perfect added touch. I highly recommend staying here!”

”This is a beautiful house and the property manager was great. The dock area was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the basement play area. The house had everything we needed, though I do wish there was a gas grill. Just one issue to keep in mind: this is really a six person house. There are 3 queen beds. The other sleeping capacity is air mattresses and uncomfortable pull outs. And there is a charge for more than 6 people (just to sleep on the floor).But with that said, we would definitely stay here...
