”We enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything in town. Close to the water and right across the street from nice little park with boat tours and a dock you could walk out on to see into the sound. There is no TV in the house, we did not know that. Would have been nice to know as we had to find a place to watch college World Series games in evenings. The house had plenty of room for the 2 of us was very clean on inside. No washer /dryer, which would have been needed for an...

”Words just can’t completely express how excellent this little cottage on the river is! We wanted to have alone family time away from it all, and we literally stumbled across this wonderful place. ”This was our first family getaway that did not involve seeing extended family and my kids are still talking about the trip! There was so much to do that everyone had something fun to do. My kids loved being in the water and playing darts. My husband enjoyed being able to fish right out of the backyard and how quiet it was. I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the wildlife (loved seeing the bald eagle that landed on the dock!). Will definitely be staying here again!”

”You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself.
