”We had two couples and we both enjoyed the property and found the accommodations appealing and felt that the location was perfect for access to the trails for atv rides. The house was pleasantly appointed with decent kitchen and laundry facilities.We especially liked the wrap around porch and the large yard with visits from deer and turkeys.”

”Our family enjoyed staying here, and would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. It was a nice retreat after hiking and seeing the sites in the Black Hills area.”

”The washing machine never worked with only 2 towels for bathroom in downstairs with 2 bedrooms so we could not wash for a week stay Called multiple times no one came also we were flying so we went conservative on clothes because we could wash but that did not workIt was in a wonderful location and loved the house ”

”It was a nice place for a family to stay and spend time together. Far from everything. Be prepared to not have internet or television at times, which is wonderful if you are trying to get away from it all. The kitchen was amazing!! So many fun gadgets and great for large family cooking. We spent lots of time playing pool, building fires and hanging out in the hot tub. Would go back again to rest.”

”The location was great for a short walk into town and to a hiking trail. The house was large and had plenty of space and rooms to choose from for our party of 6. It was clean and comfortable, and was easy to communicate with host. It was the best spot for our family to stay during a mini family reunion and graduation weekend.”

”The place was great. Room are big most had their own bathroom and fridge in them. Overall a great place for a larger family vacation. If I had one complaint it that it was about a 20 minute drive on gravel to get to the lodge.”

”We are six older "girls" who stayed for a week. Adam, the host, answered any questions and concerns promptly prior to our arrival and during our stay. The house is very conveniently located in the middle of Custer and next door to a wonderful pie and ice cream restaurant.”
