”During our 7 night stay, we had to change rooms 2 times. Our first room flooded during an overnight rainfall. Our second room had lots of mildew on the ceiling over the bed. Our third did not have any problems. The hotel staff was very accommodating throughout our stay. Our housekeeper, Martha, was wonderful!”

”My family and I recently stayed at this hotel property for two nights while on a road trip. We checked in on a Thursday night and checked out on Saturday morning. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were helpful upon check-in and were generous in giving us extra towels. ”I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...

”It was okay but This property is very outdated. The furniture was very worn, the mattress was in poor condition. Foam was gaping out of the bottom and it had a few stains on the box springs. I do extensive checks for bed bugs so that’s how I noticed these things. There were no bed bugs or any bugs of any type. Pillows were flat but overall bed was comfortable and sheets appeared & smelled clean. Room & entire property smelled clean and our room was tidy but carpet had stains and doors were dirty...

”My room was at perfect temperature when i arrived (requested). Room was immaculate, bedding firm and extremely clean, shower was very clean & well stocked with linen. The view of the baseball fields was an added bonus that I knew nothing about. Overall I was extremely pleased with the last minute accommodations here at Holiday Inn Parkville, MO.”

The lady at the front desk dropped off a pack and play with a cute little fitted sheet for us to use even though I had packed our own it was so thoughtful.
