”Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

”A comfortable Inn to stay the night, but as in all old houses, you can hear everything trough the walls. Like the busy pub downstairs or the other guest walking around upstairs. Convieniently close to the castle, but loads of narrow stairs, to get to the rooms.”

”The studio is basic but comfortable and had everything that we needed for the week that we spent there. The owner is friendly and welcoming.  The week we were there was very wet, but we still got out and about to visit the Llanfair Slate Caverns, Harlech Castle, Barmouth, etc.  We also had some lovely long walks and bike rides.”

”This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. ”A nice hotel, and room was ok, but some leaking in the toilet, and blinds that didn't close, breakfast was ok, eggs bacon, but not that hot. stay was ok but I found the room seemed a bit dated, staff were helpfull in getting me to book in early .”
