"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was always spotless. Housekeeping was exceptionally efficient and discreet, usually taking place during breakfast without us even noticing.
Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent and a lovely way to start the day. A few more options would have made it even better, but the Greek scramble deserves a special mention — it was fantastic!
Location: The hotel is quite secluded, which can be a real advantage if you're looking for a peaceful stay. However, having a car or other means of transport is recommended, as getting around on foot means walking along roadsides, which is not particularly pleasant, especially after dark. But you do meet cats and chickens on the walk, so it's not that terrible.
Room and sound insulation: The only other minor issue was the room door, which felt a little flimsy. Sound insulation between rooms was good (you could barely hear anything from other rooms), but noises from outside the room, such as footsteps and occasional door bangs, were quite noticeable. Adding simple weatherstripping or sealing tape around the door frame could help the door close more snugly and significantly improve sound insulation.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The friendly staff, excellent cleanliness and great breakfast made for a very positive experience. With just a few small improvements, the hotel would be even better!"
