”The roof of our room on the "tower" side moldy and when it started raining the roof leaked all over my stuff. The receptionist took a 5 $ deposit for the keys but when we checked out she didn't return it not even when we asked for it. The male staff were very nice but this woman was not cooperative. The main side was comfy and nice and the restaurant offered cheap and tasty traditional meals, also the breakfast was superb.”

”Really beautiful and peaceful resort! The hotel has its own hot springs, and also an outside jacuzzi. The amenities of the room were great, for example the insect repellent cream was very useful. The resort area was well kept, and all kind of animals were walking around. Besides for families, this hotel was an excellent choice also for a solo traveller looking for tranquility.”

”This is hands down a 5 star hotel. The hotel is on an amazing property with an amazing view from the rooms. The rooms have a heated hot tub on the patio and the vibe is very nice. The pools are heated, so you can enjoy at any time. The food at the restaurant was solid , and the staff makes up for the rest since everyone is very nice. ”The room was spotless. We came during Christmas just to lay in the hot springs. The whole property was lit up and very festive. The welcoming treat and personal touches in our room were the icing on the cake. The breakfast was full of choices. The resort is located close to La Fortuna town and many great excursions. We will definitely return here again. ”

”Excellent hotel with excellent service. Hot springs area was amazing and much bigger than expected. We visited here in low season (May) and there were zero crowds in the hotel nor hot springs. If you go to this hotel, make sure you enjoy the hot springs at night time as well. ”

”This resort was amazing. The hotel staff were so friendly, we loved all of the pools, loved the spa and restaurants. The view of the volcano was amazing from our room. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it could not have been better. They upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of wine. The massage I had here was the best I’ve ever had. ”Location is perfectly in the center of the town. You can book tours you want right next to hotel, plenty of restaurants and bus station really close, two minutes walking. Hotel is ok. Once we got only cold water from shower and showers at the pool didn't work (at least we didn't get any water from them) but otherwise everything was ok, clean room and nice stay. Breakfast was pretty good too. We would recommend this hotel.”
