”Our first night was a bit rocky — our room was in the Historic area of the hotel, close to the road, and we could hear a neighboring dog barking. The next morning at breakfast, we only saw coffee, toast, cereal, and fruit, so we thought that was all that was available. ”Great stay. Driver waiting with a sign at the airport. Friendly reception staff. The room is clean and while it takes a couple of minutes to warm up, the shower had great pressure and temperature. Close to the airport and nice restaurant.”

”What a sweet place and so close to the airport! I needed to check in really early and they were so accommodating. The little cabin I rented was adorable and set in really pretty grounds and they arranged taxi service for me back to the airport. Lovely place!”

”This place is amazing. It is very family-friendly, with lots for kids to do and explore. We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for us. There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire. ”

”Excellent, very courteous and helpful staff. The rooms were kept spotless. I would have a few suggestions concerning improvement of the bathrooms, however. The toilet flushing knob should not be located under a stone shelf. There should be a window to the outside, not to the room itself. It would also help if the restaurant tab could be part of the checkout.”
