”Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”

”A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit.”

Sijainti on loistava: monet vanhankaupungin nähtävyyksistä on ihan lähellä ja palvelutarjonta pelaa keskustassa. Huoneeni oli aika pieni eikä siinä ollut ikkunaa ulos ollenkaan. Käytävälle oli lasiseinä, jossa oli liukuovi (seinän eteen sai verhot). Aamupala oli paikan kattoterassilla ja rakennuksessa oli keskellä aukko, jota pitkin melu aamiaiselta tuli huoneeseen asti. ”The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. ”

”Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.”
