”A simple and comfortable stay. We enjoyed the availability of the “coffee shop” and appreciated recommendations at check-in.”

”This was a nice hotel with clean rooms but we had a couple of issues with maintenance that were not resolved as quickly as they could have been. The property is not within walking distance of anything as there are no sidewalks so had to drive everywhere.”

”This is a lovely inn. I have always wanted to stay here. The bar was great. The food was amazing. However, the wifi did not function in my room. The check in staff did not inform me that coffee would be available in the lobby in the morning. Frankly, I found him somewhat condescending. The property is beautiful, the setting is fantastic. There was a window air conditioner. I did not stay around for breakfast as I wanted to get home. I believe the rumors about the Inn being haunted to be true....

”Charming B&B. Our room was beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was tasty. It was right across from the Vanderbilt Mansion and had many other places to go to. We would definitely go there again.”

”If I could rate this a 0 I would. Place smelled like cigarettes and weed even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. Asked to be moved and the desk said it smells like that everywhere. People in the lobby during check in were talking about selling drugs and asking people if they wanted drugs. Guy at desk did not acknowledge it. TV and wifi did not work. Also a blanket on the bed had a giant red stain and we folded it and put it in the closet. After checking out we were accused of stealing...

”Came to Rhinebeck for a family reunion and really just needed a home base to shower/sleep and change clothes. I have stayed in many high end hotels in my travels so after reading some of the reviews I came prepared. Brought my own shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. I checked in at the Beekman Arms property 1/2 mile away and that went smoothly, recieved my room key and drove back to the motel. You can park right in front of your room. ”Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly.”

”We couldn't turn the AC on the first night, it was regulated by the staff from some other location, second it didn't work properly, they had a fan which wasn't great, but it was something,The room was ok, but a bit quirky. they had a ton of rules, and things not to do. As a whole it was very disappointing.”
