”The Roosevelt is an old school, family owned motel. We were checked in by the owner and she was very helpful about the local area. The rooms were clean and the parking was easy and convenient. There is nothing fancy here- but if all you need is a clean place to sleep- this is your spot.”

”This is a lovely bed and breakfast directly across from the Vanderbilt estate, close to FDR library and Culinary institute of Art. The owners are delightful and provide delicious breakfast and helpful tips for sightseeing. Highly recommend.”

”We had to have a late check in and they accommodated us and were so friendly. The staff was amazing!!”

”We brought our dog with us. We had a room right by the exit. It was clean. Breakfast was great. One thing I would say is make sure you understand the dog fee before you go there there was stores very close for anything you forgot, which made it super convenient. I would definitely stay there again.”

”The room was $250. The description was 'motel-like', but was more like Motel 6-like. OK, the room was dreary, but the bathroom was horrible. The sink and tub area were water damaged and moldy. The exhaust fan was clogged with dust and the shower curtain was torn. And there were ant traps under the horrible sink cabinet tossed in near the hair dryer. Oh, yeah...the coffee machine, which was stuck in the closet, did not work.”

”First Lady at the desk was rude and dismissive from the start and straight up walked away without saying anything. This then turned into a 25-30 minute wait with nobody at the front desk to assist. When the lady eventually came back, she had an even crappier attitude. The second guy (Kevin) was a not much better…. ”One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. New, clean wonderful staff in every department”

”Hotel reopened two days prior to our stay. Barry, the property owner, greeted us upon our arrival and explained that there was everything we may need in the lobby: coffee, tea, water, snacks etc. Our room and king sized bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom with free standing soaking tub. The view of the Hudson River from our balcony was spectacular. Wish we had a clearer night to see sunset over the Hudson. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends and...

”A good spot for a good price”

”The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast is 10 different kinds of sugar. Some kind of protein should be a part of a breakfast. Boiled eggs, or greek yogurt are easy enough. Thank.”

”Large room with fancy bathroom. Nice common area. Good continental breakfast. Only issue is we didn’t have control of the AC and the vent over the bed intermittently made us cold at night.”
