Excellent location for walking in the colonial zone. Beautiful historical building. It’s a sight by itself. I would not stay elsewhere. Negative: WiFi stopped working in my room. I used the next room’s WiFi as the password was easy to guess. They did not repair my WiFi despite me reporting it. There is a separate WiFi on hotel premises (not in the room) and it worked fine. I had good dinners for a very reasonable price. You could ask for house still water ( not tap) at the restaurant so that they don’t bring the expensive imported bottled water. Good breakfast.

The Presidential Suite was absolutely spectacular—spacious, beautifully appointed, and offering what we believe is the best view in all of Santo Domingo. The luxurious amenities and elegant design made for an unforgettable experience. This was truly one of the finest hotel stays we’ve ever had.
