”The cigarette smoke in the casino was unbearable. Definitely need a better ventilation system. The hotel room was very nice and thankfully did not have any smoke smell.”

”A really interesting and unique history. The dning area and breakfast setup were well done. Our room (211) has an extremely small footprint. The toilet is claustrophobic. Only 12 rooms so be carefull what you book. ”

”Friendly staff. The hotel is doing renovations, so that was sore eyes. The hotel room was renovated, but still had some older fixtures that I believe should have been updated as well. You don't get breakfast when you book through Expedia, but the Dennis restaurant is conveniently connected to the hotel. Overall, a good experience.”

”Fab hotel for a fab price. Fits the bill for a purpose-built weekend. We were there for a dance comp, so the amenities (pool, restaurant, parking, location) were perfect. It's a little dated, but that's okay! And they do a fabulous job to quiet it down right at 9 p.m. Felt like (in the best way!) a kids club with so many teams and groups there too, but was nice and quiet for a good sleep when it mattered. Staff are fab too!”

”Overall, it was a good experience. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only area I think could be improved is the breakfast selection. It would be better if the menu varied every other day, as we noticed that the same food was served daily during our stay. Aside from that, everything else was great. We still enjoyed our time and really liked the hotel.”

”The place was very clean and well-kept, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were fresh and spotless. The bathtub and bathroom were also very clean and well-sanitized. Sue was very welcoming and kind. Overall, it was a really nice stay and I would definitely recommend it.”
