Luxurious Lakeside Home on Upper & Lower Post Lake Channel

Spacious home with ample space to sleep up to 17 guests between the two private bedrooms upstairs featuring queen beds, the upstairs bunk room features not one but two twin over full bunk beds with twin trundles, and the living room features a queen pull out sleeper sofa and a custom full sized futon that is sure to warm up any of our winter guests as it sits comfortably on top of a hot water heater.

Pets allowed upon approval ($50 per pet, limit 2).

This home offers the perfect balance between the peace of the outdoors with over 400 feet of sandy lake frontage on the channel between upper and lower Post Lake (that is not only accessible by a staircase just steps from the porch but also a graded path just beyond the fence line making it easily accessible to all), and purpose by offering high speed internet, smart tv's,and aworkspace for anyone looking to work will they play.

Direct access to ATV/UTV and snowmobile trails allow you to enjoy the outdoors year round! While the channel itself is no-wake, feel free to enjoy the 765 acres of full recreationalUpper Post Lake or the 379 acres of Lower Post Lake(fish include musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye). Bring your boat or rent one to use the dock!

Stepping into the upstairs bathroom one might think they've transported to luxury suite with the massive garden tub for a relaxing soak, wall mounted smart tv to stream your favorite show or movie while you pamper yourself,stall shower with dual showerheads, and full vanity with ample counterspace.

Looking for somewhere nearby to enjoy a nice date night or dinner out with the family, look no further than Wolff's River Inn only a brisk 6 minute walk or a quick minute drive down the road. They offer all your favorite cocktails and menu itemsfrom fresh fish to a hearty steak or fall off the bone ribs, they have something for everyone to enjoy.

Please note due to varying lengths of stays, we provide starter items (2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dish soap, a few garbage bags, and hand soap). Any additional items can be purchased at the local gas station, Schaefers IGA or Dollar General.

Definitely NOT Luxurious!

The owner was easy to communicate with. We had a bathroom leak in the shower they fixed after we called. The description and pictures do not match what I walked into. First impression, it was not a luxurious vacation spot. The house was not clean, I found 2 large blood spots on the dining room floor next to the table. Kitchen was pretty good except the cupboards an oven were really dirty. There was only 1 couch that fit 3 people in living room. Not sure where they would have 17 people sit.The beds were not comfortable and really soft. There was an adequate number of sheets and towels.Laundry is in a basement that was dirty with sitting water puddle where you walk.The only luxury was the big soaker tub in the upstairs bathroom. It also had a TV in the bathroom. The toilets were dirty. I scrubbed but couldn't get them clean. I found mold under the seat upstairs.Outside, you couldn't see the water because the weeds were really high. The lawn was not mowed before we got there and no one came to mow during our month long stay. We couldn't find the boat dock at first because the weeds near the water were really high. We borrowed a weed wacker so we cold get to the dock without getting ticks. The wood dock is rickety and is falling in the water in one place.The metal dock was also hidden by weeds. Was going to tie up there but there are large rocks near it.To top off the trip, we had 2 bats visit. That was it. We left early.

Inhabitable Mess

The house was loaded with lady bugs, and more importantly mice. The pull out couch, the futon, and drawers/cabinets were littered with mice poop. Which left 2 beds unusable...Additionally, the lawn/home outside was poorly groomed with chopped up bottles and long grass clippings left… which was disappointing since we wanted to enjoy the yard. I know it's a bigger place, and allows a lot of people to sleep there which is nice but to be advertised as “can sleep 17” is a complete stretch... the condition overall was unacceptable, unsafe, and quite honestly inhabitable. Usually I’m not the kind to be upset, but I was charged $$ for things we didn’t do, or could even control. I will never be staying at this home again, or recommend it to anyone else.

2023 Family vacation!!

The inside of the house was well suited for our group of 14 people and our dogs. There were ample towels in both bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment! The bed linens were good quality! There is some traffic noise being near a busy road but it’s more quiet towards evening. The yard is large but could use some trimming and cleanup! We really enjoyed and utilized the big outside table and chairs! We had a very memorable weekend!
